Topiramate-induced Myopic Shift and Acute Bilateral Angle Closure Glaucoma

Bilateral acute angle closure glaucoma and myopic shift can be seen due to topiramate use. Although there is no defi nitive treatment, common thought in topiramate induced angle- closure glaucoma is topiramate discontinuation, anti-glaucomatous drug and cycloplegic treatment. In this case report, our aim is to discuss the treatment of topiramate induced bilateral acute angle closure glaucoma and myopic shift with clinical fi ndings.
