Options include observation, topical treatment with steroids and hyperosmotic agents, intracameral air or long acting gas and viscoelastic injection, transcorneal suturing, endothelial and penetrating keratoplasty. A 72 years old man underwent a cataract surgery. At the fi rst postoperative month, the patient\'s corneal edema was still present. Upon careful examination, it was determined that the Descemet\'s membrane was completely separated. Descemet\'s membrane detachment was successfully treated with intracamaral isoexpansile perfl uoropropane (14%) injection. Keywords : Cornea, Descement?s membrane detachment, Perfl uoropropane
