Xeroderma pigmentosum is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by ocular and dermatological lesions. The patients are extremely photosensitive and the ultraviolet light is a predisposing factor for malignities. In this paper we discussed the clinical and surgical approach in a patient with xeroderma pigmentosum who developed glaucoma after an irregular use of oral and topical steroid pomades for the skin lesions. We controlled the intraocular pressure by trabeculectomy. Then we operated the patient for the limbal tumor appearing in the same eye. Keywords : Xeroderma pigmentosum, steroid induced glaucoma, trabeculectomy, limbal tumor
